ABOUT THE ARTIST SKYE CRUSH

Hello, I am Skye Crush a multimedia artist. Though I work in all mediums comfortably I mainly use watercolor due to the fact that it is compact and dries fast, and I am often traveling and doing plein air paintings on the road. The Majority of my landscapes are painted right there in the field within one day. I also have a deep love for figure drawing and try to do it as often as possible. My Illustrations therefore have both plein air and figurative inspiration in them that I believe gives them a magical breath of life. I also work in themes that celebrate femininity and gender fluidity especially when it comes to my character design work. There is also a lot of focus on childhood and a sense of playfulness and silliness in my characters and illustrations. These themes of nature, femininity, gender fluidity, and immaturity are very beautiful to me and I want to showcase that beauty to the world through my art.
